      Over the past decade, computer software and hardware technology with the rapid development of the field of virtual reality in a number of advanced development tools and   hardware equipment, greatly improving the virtual scene and create a virtual environment such as human-computer interaction capabilities.      CM-LABS公司位于加拿大的蒙特利尔,是以虚拟仿真系统平台研究为主的公司,公司除从事Vortex软件的开发以外,还进行了大量的技术咨询工作,主要的服务对象是加拿大国防部、美国国防部、美国NASA等。所有的仿真项目和软件系统都经过了大量的实验验证,很多参数来自于试验获得的经验数据。Vortex软件由该公司历经10多年的开发而成,是模拟用于车辆、机械、机器人等在工作环境下工作状态的虚拟仿真系统平台。

三、产品介绍

     Vortex可以处理多刚体系统动力学、碰撞干涉、干涉响应等高度真实的车辆动力学问题。Vortex的常用工具箱可以产生多个模拟器来实现运动和环境仿真。它可以利用实测的或设想的地形数据来建立各种战场的环境,考虑不同得地形、地貌,考虑各种各样的路面条件,例如,硬路面、雪地、沼泽地、沙地以及水潭等。利用Vortex可以在一个真实环境的所有的目标上,加载精确真实的物理过程,并产生一个交互式的仿真操作环境,例如履带车辆、机器人、起重机械、登月车辆的远程操控和训练等。

     Vortex自身还带有高级流体分析功能,可考虑车辆、船舶、机械手等在水域中的运动等,是一个唯一可以同时考虑车辆在陆地和水上的运动的仿真平台,是两栖车辆设计仿真的有力工具。

     另外,Vortex是一个开放的仿真环境平台,采用标准的C++语言,用户可以在现有的平台基础上开发适合自己的独立的工具箱。
